BLU University understands the power that comes from parental partnership. Your support can make all the difference in your student’s life, and that’s what we want to see! We want to help your future BLU Albatross Warrior succeed in class and in life, and we are strongest when we work together. As a parent, you play a crucial role. You have the power to influence your future Albatross’ dreams and aspirations. However, this season of your child's life is a time for them to begin making decisions. We would suggest during this time of growing independence that you play a supportive role as your student navigates this milestone of selecting a college.

Overview

The BLU University office of Parent & Family Programs is a resource committed to keep you engaged, informed and supported throughout your student’s time building a company. We understand that staying connected is vital to their success and to the strength of our Albatross Family. College students experience various stages in their collegiate career, and rely on the support of family members to guide them through these stages. Our goal is to communicate with you regularly so you can be an informed resource for your student.

BLU Albatross Newsletter

The BLU Albatross Newsletter is a monthly electronic newsletter published by BPAC. The newsletter is distributed to more than 8,000 active members, throughout the academic year.

Student Family Agreement

As your student embarks on the college experience, the transition that takes place between parent/family and student can be challenging to navigate. The Student/Family agreement provides the groundwork for a conversation on expectations, both your expectations and your student’s expectations.
